BIS Ch. Glengowan's Great Balls of Fire SDHF (Jerry Lee)

Jerry Lee Head Shots

This young boy is REALLY enjoying the year. He finished his championship in June 2008 (at 22 months of age) and is being shown as a special currently. To date, he has numerous Best of Breed awards, one Group 4 (D'Arbonne KC, April 20, 2009, two Group 3s (Longview KC, July 27, 2008; Brandon KC of Mississippi, December 13, 2008), two Group 2s (Travis County KC, October 26, 2008; Longview KC, July 20, 2009), one specialtyBest of Opposite Sex (Long Island Golden Retriever Club, Feb. 6, 2009); three Specialty Awards of Merit  (Central Oklahoma Golden Retriever Club, November 16, 2008; Long Island Golden Retriever Club, Feb. 7, 2009; Greater Houston GRC, March 13, 2009), and seven Group 1s (Slidell Dog Fanciers Assn., Dec 7, 2008; Brandon KC of Mississippi, Dec. 14, 2008; South Arkansas KC, Feb. 14, 2009; Stephenville KC of Texas, April 12, 2009; Baytown KC, April 25, 2009; West Central Oklahoma KC, August 29 and 30, 2009).  He is beginning to be used as a stud dog.  We are very happy with the litters he is producing, although they are still young.

He received his first Best in Show on
Dec. 14, 2008, which finished his quest for the Golden Retriever Show Dog Hall of Fame. Here's the photo:

and has been a joy in the house (albeit sometimes more active and full of life than we need) since he was a baby.
