Glengowan Goldens starts with Bree (Bargello's Bree of Glengowan, OD), the
foundation bitch. We obtained her from Barbara
Tinker (Bargello Goldens) in 1996. "OD" refers to the title, GRCA
Oustanding Dam, awarded to bitches whose produce have excelled in show
and/or performance venues.
Qualifying produce for Bree's OD were Pepper
(Ch. Glengowan's Sugar and Spice), Cagney (Ch.
Glengowan
Juscoz All Spiced Up CDX JH NA NAJ VCX), and Kelly
(Ch. Glengowan's American Princess).
Cagney is owned by Lynda and Tim Williams. Pepper owns us and Kelly now
lives with Annette Tyson.
Pepper has been active recently also, earning a Judge's Award of Merit
at the Golden Retriever Club of America National Specialty in
October 2009 and Best Veteran at the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Golden
Retriever Club on March 26, 2010. She has had litters with Tyler
(Am. CH.
Smithaven's Amber Brew BISS AX OAJ NAC NGC TN-N) and with Hobo (BIS BISS Am. Ch.
Summits MR Bojangles OS SDHF),and with Dylan (Ch. Seeshaw Dylan's Evening Blaze SH WCX OS).

From the Hobo
litter, we have Owen and Ash. One of
the boys from
that litter, Romeo,
is
a Canadian Champion and was the 2008 #2 Golden in Canada,
owned by Judy Kashuba and
co-owned by
me. From a later Dylan - Pepper litter
we
have kept a girl, Glengowan's C-quel (S'more), full sister to Glengowan's Great Balls
of Fire (Jerry Lee). S'More has had an exceptional puppy career,
with four reserve winners' bitch placements. She won best puppy
every time that competition was offered and usually earned puppy group
placements.
Pepper too has qualified for her OD, the
qualifying produce being Owen, Scotty, and Taylor.
